No, it’s not a new urban dance step. It’s an annoyance and disruption of daily commuters who catch the L train at the last stop in Manhattan. Apparently, the people who monitor the L train can’t make up their minds which trains are going to depart first, forcing passengers to shuffle from one train to the other after finding their seats and waiting patiently to depart. Today, at around 1:15pm, the retarded folks that monitor and command the L train, made commuters shuffle between trains twice before finally departing the station. It’s ridiculous that they can’t get their act together. And to top it off, the MTA staff enjoy how the commuters shuffle hurriedly from train to the other and then back again. This just illustrates how some of the folks within the MTA machine are fucking with commuters for their amusement.

I was on the E train sitting in the middle of the bench. I deliberately sat down in the middle knowing that eventually I will have strangers sitting on either side of me.

When the train pulls into continental and Roosevelt Avenue, two polish or russian guys board the train. One of them takes a seat next to me and expected me to move over for his friend. When I didn’t, his friend says “excuse me” as if I was in the way of him sitting down. I continued to sit still. Then the other guys says, “Could you move over?” To which I replied, “No, I want to sit here.”

The other guy who is left standing goes, “Wow. Wow….wow.” – like that’s going to make me move over?

Well, someone else came and sat down in the empty seat next to me.

It annoys me that people think they have the right to make some move over in their seat when they are with a friend and they want to sit together. What about what the person who’s already in their seat wants? Why can’t people be satisfied with having a seat? You want to sit with your friend? Find a seat that can accommodate both your asses together.

It really is inconsiderate asking someone to move to accommodate you and your friend. It’s not as simple as sliding over. The other seat could be dirty. The person on the other side of the seat could be unsavory. The person is happy sitting where they are sitting and it’s obnoxious for anyone to think otherwise when asking that person to simply move over because its not that simple!

I am on a crowded F train and standing unfortunately next to a young black man who hasn’t gotten enough sleep. He’s sitting slouched in his seat. He’s got long skinny legs sticking out in front, preventing anyone from standing directly in front of him or on either side of him.

If men aren’t sitting with their legs spread out like whores, their legs are stretched out in front. This seems to be a common obnoxious behavior among young black men. Not all but that’s what I have observed.

It’s not enough that these guys are sitting but to take away real estate from standees is just obnoxious! Trains are overcrowded as is and sometimes you have to stand in awkward positions. Standees do not need additional obstacles trying to hold on to the grab bars.

A seat just freed up next to one of the girls and these two are so absorbed in their stupid conversation that the other girls fails to notice and move closer to her friend.

The other girl finally notices and tells her friend to move over.

Duh!!

Some people are just so clueless about etiquette. Talking across someone. What the fuck do you have to say to someone that it can’t wait!?

There is something worse than nail clippings. There are women who like to file their nails on public transportation. This is just as bad as combing or brushing hair. Tiny particles are floating in the air. Where they land, nobody knows. And worse, you could possibly breathe it into your system, or carry the dead particles in your clothes or coffee.

This lady sitting next to me was restless. She kept shuffling through her bag and eventually pulled out a file and began to file away.

The F train pulled into the station and it wasn’t crowded. In fact there were seats available. I stood where I normally stand on the platform and a large woman came up next to me as the train stopped. One guy was preparing to disembark the train and he saw how adamant the large woman was intent on getting on the train and into one of the seats. He moved out of the way for her when the doors slid open. I stepped onto the train and as I turned right, the large woman pushed me out of the way to get to the empty seat; the seat I was going to sit at. As she pushed passed me, I called her a “fat cow”. I’m not sure she heard me. I frankly don’t care.

As I mentioned, there were plenty of seats available and took a seat to the left upon boarding the train.

I’m on the F train sitting in the center seat of the 3 seat bench. At 63rd Street and Lexington Avenue, a fat butterball of a woman boards the train and immediately waddles over and plops her heavy body in the seat next to me and the door. She expected me to move over into the other empty seat. I think that’s presumptuous of her. I remained where I was, pinching her fat ass and body between me and the end panel. She could have sat her fat ass in the other empty seat that way the space at the end could accommodate her round body. Her fatness could hang off the edge.

I have no sympathy for fat women like her. She knew she couldn’t possible sit in the seat next to me and the end panel, and yet this lardesses chose to sit in this seat. In fact, I can’t help by notice that these porky women like to sit in seats next to the end panel. Why!? It ain’t gonna make them less fat. If anything, it just makes them take up room in the seat beside them, which she is doing with me. I can feel her bulging hippo body pushing me over. It’s like a belt about to snap due to the pressure it has to hold back. my left side is going numb from the pressure.

How the hell does he get up in the mornings? How do people get so fat as her. I’m talking about a woman who looks like a ball with nubs for a head, arms and legs. If it wasn’t for hefty weight, she could float away. Kinda like that scene in Harry Potter where Harry made an evil aunt fat and she floated away.

One of many things I can’t stand about inconsiderate commuters are those carrying large bags onto a crowded bus and/or train. Unless you’re a stealthy individual or a cat burglar, take your bag off your shoulders and carry it in your hands so it doesn’t hit or jab into people’s bag. It’s obnoxious and inconsiderate of the fact that there are people on the bus or train trying to get to work in the morning (or going home after a long day). Or have the decency to say, “Excuse me”, or “Sorry”.

One such lady boarded the train this morning during rush hour with a bag that was as big as, and as she passed down the narrow aisle of standing commuters, her large bag hit the backs of people including mine. No “excuse me” or an apology. She ended up standing next to me. She placed the large bag on the floor, and while she was fiddling around, the train pulled out the station and she almost fell over.

Another type of annoying bag careier are the ones who carry shoulder bags or messenger type bags. There are some people who are clueless as to where to locate their bag in a crowded bus or train. The best place is to move the bulky bag part in front of you. The next best location is to your hip. Its never a good idea to carry these shoulder bags with the bulky portion behind you because that bulky portion will inevitably be jambes into someone’s back.

A young lady got on the train with her shoulder bag and she decided to plant herself in an awkward spot holding onto a pole behind someone else so her large school bag is bumping my backside.

The commute was less than comfortable as you can imagine. Luckily, I did not have to stay on the train to endure being jabbed in the back for very long.

I’ve got a bright orange haired sprite who looks Indian sitting next to me. She can’t seem to stop shifting in her seat. She’s slouching and has her legs crossed so she has no stability; not that the train ride is all that turbulent. She keeps bumping me with her arms as she adjusts herself in her poor seating position.

And a homeless man got on the train and he stinks of shit and salty flesh. He took a seat at one of the corner benches. So unpleasant.

Now she’s talking to her friend with her back towards me. This is just an incident waiting to happen… What an inconsiderate twat.

She’s just sneezed something inherent hand and wiped it on the underside of the seat and the filthy hand is right next to me. She’s obviously not a very classy gal.

Thank goodness, orange haired skank and her friend got off at Roosevelt Avenue. Now, if only the homeless man followed them off the train.

I was entering the subway station at World Trade Center to catch the E train. I was approaching one of the two revolving gates when a herd of fat Americans in sweatshirts were about to exit the platform. They see me approaching one the gates, and instead of exiting out of one, they exited out of both. Fine. The first one to come through thumbed me to go but she was too dumb to realize that a few of her hefty herd members were following behind her so I waited. As I was about to slide my Metrocard to enter, the first large figured woman made a comment that I was just standing there (like an idiot). She was obviously an ignorant fat American. Had she possessed any intelligence, she would have realized I was waiting for the rest of the herd to trod on through.
