I know the A/C is on but…

Was on the “E” train. Got on at Spring Street station. Was able to get a seat. The A/C was even working until we got to 34th Street when the cool air just wasn’t cooling me down. I was wearing a very light silk top and I could feel my back was on the moist side. I didn’t sweat through. The A/C kicked to high gear once we left the island of Manhattan. I had to put my cardigan over myself. I was still not cooled down.
Now I’m on the bus heading home. The A/C is always on high on buses and always cold in the summers. I’m beginning to cool down.
