Commuter Etiquette No. 16

Here’s another etiquette I’d like to add to my growing list of Commuter Etiquette.

I am on the “E” train and a lady sits down next to me and starts to brush her. She’s right up aginst me brushing her hair! I turned to her and said, “Do you mind not brushing your hair next to me?!”

She stopped, apologized, and put her brush away.

I’m glad she obliged and it didn’t become an altercation. I would have argued my point that the train isn’t your home, nobody wants to carry your dead skin cells or loose strands of hair!
