MTA’s equivalent to a Doctor’s note

So now when you arrive late to work or to school, you may obtain a note from the MTA that backs up your reason for being tardy.  This program has been around for some time now but not commonly known of it’s existence.  Currently you have to call in to obtain your delay-verification letter at  (718) 330-1234 and would have to wait at most two weeks for this letter.  However, by middle of 2009, you will be able to file your claim online and receive your delay-verification letter via email.
