Police Investigation, part 2

Well, I checked my MTA alerts and they did report the delay but did not provide further information.  Below is a direct quote from the emailed alert.  The first email was issued at 8:06pm.

“Police investigation, Jamaica E and F trains via local 36th St to 71st Ave”

A second email was issued at 9:00pm.

“Following an earlier incident, E and F train service has resumed with residual delays.”

And if the delay should have caused you to be late to your evening shift, you may obtain a request a dela verification letter from the MTA.  You may call them at (718) 330-1234.  It may take up two two weeks to obtain, but at least you’ll have an official excuse from the MTA for being late.
