Reading a bit too close

I’m on the Q46 bus and sitting along the aisle of the two seater seats. The bus is starting to fill up but somehow this Chinese guy pulling a meduim sized luggage decides to stand beside me. He stands a bit too close and whips out a bunch of xeroxes to read. The bus is crowded but not packed. This asshole is oblivious to the fact that I am sitting and he has come a little too close with his reading material to my eyes. I’m sitting with my back against the seat and trying to avoid this douche bag from swaying his copies into my face.

On top of that, he’s got bad breath and everytime he exhales, I get a nasty waft of his foul odored mouth.

I don’t care if you read on the bus or train but I hate it when these people who read are just completely inconsiderate of how they read their material. Newspaper readers are among the most obnoxious whether you’re sitting next to them and they spread open their paper in front of your face or whether you’re standing near them and they’re brushing their paper on your head or body as they try to get to the next section.

And then there are magazine readers who are standing and you’re sitting. They always seem to level their magazine right at your eye level and leaning ever so close to you.

Chinese dude finally moved away from me to an empty seat behind the bus driver.
